On a jet plane...

Is 'jet plane' one or two words?

This is when I need my intelligent friends/interns at Paste Magazine by my side to let me know of this type of information.  In fact, I am nervous that those talented people are reading this right now.  Let's be honest, I was a marketing intern for a reason.

I am leaving for Quito, Ecuador tomorrow.  This blog is to document those few months down there.  I do hope all of you enjoy.

I am currently watching the Colbert Report, taking in all that is possible of the English language.  Here is your moment of Zen tonight.  I drove the back roads of upstate South Carolina listening to the wonderful Tift Merritt's "Another Country" last night.

How fitting...

Hi, Mary. I'm excited to hear about your adventures.
¡Que tengas cuidado y que lo pases bien! Le diré al Profe. Halka que tienes este blog--él va a enseñar el curso de la cultura de latinoamérica en el otoño.

i couldve sworn i already left you a comment. how embarrassing. ah well, soon remedied.

Mary Beth. I miss you in the way that a very thirsty cow might miss water. ( it being the only thing that could quench its extreme thirst. (not the fake kind of quenching that soda and sports drinks provide, the kind thats actually on par with pedialite. (which will never be as good as water)... why did i bring this up...?))

anyways. me and pabst wish you were here, but we understand the world likes to see you too.

TONS of hugs.
BISES.

Lame that you need a name thing.
actually that may be why i didnt leave one before.

ERIN SMITH.
